The average new house in the 1960s would have had an energy rating of 30 out of 100 using the NHBC’s Standard Assessment Procedure (SAP). Today the average value is 75 out of 120. Linden Homes score a rating of between 85 and 95 out of 120. This is achieved by using high levels of insulation and UPVC double-glazing, resulting in greater comfort and lower fuel bills.
